I rode the train in today with 5 other people to work so I thought I'd post a little blog update for all of those enjoying the day off today.   My Friday Fives for this week are:

Exhale Core Fusion class - it hurts so good

Nuts.com dates - they sent us some free samples and I'm obsessed

No Limits Tank from Lululemon - perfect for spin or hot yoga

24 more days to go until Alex and I are honeymooning in Aruba

sigh - my favorite Hermes campaign ever

Wish List

I feel like I've been so focused on work and the wedding lately that I've been a little distracted.  But one of my favorite things to do on Pinterest is create a little wish list and track things that I love (even if I never plan to buy them for myself).  My current wish list includes:

Louis Vuitton Speedy

Proenza Shouler

Hermes bracelet

A girl can dream can't she??

Wedding Wednesdays - Nails

I usually talk about something related to the wedding, but I feel like with the wedding only 3 weeks away (eek!!) I pretty much only talk about the wedding.  So Monday I had a lot of fun going to get my nails done and tried out the color Luxedo from Essie which may be my new favorite dark shade.

For the wedding day, I'll definitely want my nails to be a gel manicure in a light, natural pink.  I found this picture online and love how it shows all the different shades of pink from various lines.

One of my all time favorite colors is Starter Wife from Essie, which might be appropriate since I'll be getting married in that shade.  I also love Sugar Daddy.  Hopefully none of that is foreshadowing!!!

Rent the Runway

I'm still trying to decide what I want to wear to the after party of our weekend.  I love my wedding dress so much that I don't want to be dragging it around a bar all night.  I'm a little nervous about what would happen to it.  So that being said, I was looking at Rent the Runway after my coworker suggested it and a few of my favorite styles are:

Badgley Mischka

Shoshanna

Milly

Issa

Why I Love Our New Juicer

At the last minute, Alex and I added a juicer to our registry.  I love to juice and drink green juice ( as evidenced by my multiple juices throughout the week) but never really thought about making my own.  On the recommendation from a friend, we registered for the Breville Juicer 2-Speed Fountain.

My first juice I made was spinach, green apples and ginger.  That was amazing.  My second was spinach, green apples, ginger, lemon, grapefruit and cucumber.  It was ok - I used too much lemon.  I can't wait to keep trying out different juice combinations - I'm definitely hooked!!

Soul Cycle Greenwich

I've definitely drank the Soul-Cycle kool-aid.  That's my disclaimer to this post.  When I lived in NYC, I went to Soul-Cycle easily 2-3x a week.  It was my favorite form of exercise and since I didn't belong to a gym, I was able to rationalize the cost of the classes.

Then I joined Equinox, got a trainer and moved to the suburbs and couldn't go in the city as often.  However, they opened up a new location in Greenwich, CT this winter and last night, I went for the very first time.  It was truly love at first spin.  In case you've never been to Soul-Cycle, they play really fun, upbeat dance music and turn it into a cardio party.  The 45-minute class flies by because you're having such a great time.

Additionally, I love the people watching.  Besides the fact that the majority of the clientele has amazing bodies and great gym clothes (very inspiring), I've also been in class with Kelly Ripa, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chelsea Clinton and quite a few other actors.  It's always fun to go to a class with a celeb especially since everyone is so focused on their own form, you hardly pay attention to the celeb (though I did freak a little when I was seated behind Kelly Ripa - LOVE HER!!).

All in all, I can't wait to go back!!

Wedding Wednesday - Engagement Photos

We've gotten a sneak peek at our engagement photos, but I was thrilled earlier this week to receive all of them!  The photos were part of our overall photographer package.  It was so much fun getting to spend an hour at Waveny Park with Alex and a photographer and I love that we now have beautiful photographs to put in our home.

Exhale Spa - Core Fusion

When I lived in the city, I LOVED Physique 57 and Soul Cycle.  Now that I'm living in the suburbs, I want to find a fun, group exercise class that gives me a great workout.  This weekend, my friend Melissa and I went to try Barre Core Fusion at Exhale.  The class was fantastic!  I feel like it was a really great class for strengthening and toning.

The basic gist of the class is you target 4 different body areas - abs, arms, butt and thighs - and you work each one in a very targeted manner until you hit the point of exhausting. Additionally, it incorporates a lot of ballet and yoga techniques which helps lengthen and tone your muscles.  I liked it so much, I went back Monday night.  Consider me hooked.

Barcelona Restaurant and Brazilian BBQ

I may be less than 34 days from the wedding, but evidently that didn't hold me back this past weekend from enjoying some great eats!!  Saturday night involved a girl's night out at Barcelona in Stamford.

Barcelona is a really fun Spanish tapas restaurant on Summer St.  They have a fantastic selection of wines and lots of great tapas to choose from.  We split spicy chorizo, mushroom croquettes, empanadas, mushrooms and the butter leaf salad.  It was amazing and I cannot wait to go back.

Then Sunday night, Alex and I double-dates with some of our favorite Darien friends, Jon and Melissa.  We went to Rodizio Grill - Brazilian BBQ just blocks from our apartment.  We've never gone to Brzilian BBQ before, but the basic concept is you have a little peg that's painted red on one side and green on the other.  You flip it over indicating if you want more food or not.  People continuously come by serving you meat dishes and seafood.  They also have an amazing salad bar (spinach with strawberries and coconut) and amazing desserts.  I can't wait to go back - though I may not be eating meat for awhile now.

I am so glad this week is over!  I'm really excited for a weekend at home, getting my hair done, wedding stuff and hanging out with Alex.  However, this week, I did love:
